Volleyball Recap: Hinkley Gets the Win + How To Watch

On Saturday Hinkley's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Jefferson Saints. The Thunder have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Hinkley was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 16-25, 15-5.

Camila Rocha was the offensive standout of the game as she had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Rocha wasn't the only good server: Hinkley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive contests.

Hinkley's record now sits at 10-0. As for Jefferson, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Coming up, Hinkley will venture away from home to face off against Regis Groff at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to challenge Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
