Basketball Recap: Christian Brothers Triumphs

Christian Brothers's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vianney Golden Griffins, sneaking past 78-75. This was a revenge game for the Cadets: when they faced off against the Golden Griffins back in December of 2024, they had to take a 89-71 defeat.

Christian Brothers has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Vianney, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Christian Brothers will venture away from home to take on Hazelwood Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Vianney has already played their next contest (against St. Dominic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
