Basketball Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur was the 47-29 winner over Eisenhower when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The MacArthur Generals came up short against the Eisenhower Eagles on Friday, falling 41-17. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Eisenhower to victory were Brooklynn Anderson and Alyirah Lee. Anderson posted seven points in addition to ten rebounds and four steals, while Lee went 6 for 15 on her way to 12 points along with eight boards and three steals. Those seven points gave Anderson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sedmyah Steptoe, who put up two points and five boards.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Eisenhower, their victory bumped their record up to 3-17.

MacArthur has already played their next contest, a 55-33 win against Aldine on the 23rd. As for Eisenhower, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-30 loss against Spring on the 23rd.
