Baseball Recap: Oswego Starts Season with Loss at Home

Oswego unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 22-5 to the Pleasanton Blu-Jays on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

Demitri Williamson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Connor Minor was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pleasanton beat Oswego by a score of 16-6 later that day.
