Soccer Game Preview: Grandview Heights vs. Cristo Rey

The Grandview Heights Bobcats will face off against the Cristo Rey Cougar at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Grandview Heights' last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Grandview Heights narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Columbus Academy 2-1.

Meanwhile, Cristo Rey's contest on Thursday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent as they made off with a 7-1 win. Cristo Rey might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Grandview Heights' victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Cristo Rey, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Grandview Heights was able to grind out a solid victory over Cristo Rey when the teams last played back in August of 2024, winning 4-2. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougar turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
