Baseball Recap: Westhampton Beach Takes a Loss

Westhampton Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to East Hampton. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against East Hampton this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-0 loss on Wednesday.

Westhampton Beach saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Daniels, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Westhampton Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for East Hampton, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

As of now, neither Westhampton Beach nor East Hampton have any future games scheduled.
