Softball Recap: Scott Central Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Scott Central's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Lake Hornets on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Rebels haven't been shut out since back in March.

Scott Central has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Coming up, Scott Central will welcome Leake County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels are facing the Gators at the right time seeing as the Gators are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lake, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Lauderdale at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
