Glen Burnie made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Broadneck, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Gophers fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The Gophers just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Glen Burnie's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Broadneck, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

Looking ahead, Glen Burnie will square off against Southern at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.36 runs per game on average), something the Gophers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Broadneck does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
