There's no place like home for the Heritage Timberwolves, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Washougal 41-39. That's another feather in the cap for Heritage, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Washougal's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Holden Bea, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Multanen, who scored 8 points.
Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Washougal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Heritage will head out on the road to face off against Hood River Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Washougal, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against R.A. Long at 7:00 p.m.
