Volleyball Recap: Battle Ground Academy Takes a Loss

If Battle Ground Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Columbia Academy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Father Ryan Irish on Saturday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Irish recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Battle Ground Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Father Ryan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Battle Ground Academy will challenge St. Cecilia Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Father Ryan, they will face off against Goodpasture Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
