Flag Football Recap: Natalie Aguirre Lopez and Piper Mcglenn Pace Patrick Henry Defense

Patrick Henry's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mission Bay Buccaneers a 6-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Buccaneers back in August, they had to take a 28-12 defeat.

Patrick Henry didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Natalie Aguirre Lopez and Piper Mcglenn. Mcglenn is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as she's now made five or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Patrick Henry's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Mission Bay, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9-1.

Looking ahead, Patrick Henry will challenge Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mission Bay, they have already played their next game, a 21-7 win against University City on the 2nd.
