Volleyball Recap: Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Comes Up Short

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Springfield Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's loss dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for Springfield, their victory bumped their record up to 5-16.

Coming up, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop will welcome Madelia at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Springfield, they will take on Wabasso at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
