Softball Recap: South Hardin Comes Up Short

South Hardin managed to slip by Dike-New Hartford the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 9-1 to the Wolverines on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

South Hardin dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Dike-New Hartford, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

South Hardin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-4 loss against Sumner-Fredericksburg on the 14th. As for Dike-New Hartford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Denver on the 12th.
