Softball Recap: Lone Peak Comes Up Short

Lone Peak fell victim to Springville and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Springville Red Devils. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in March of 2015.

Lone Peak dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Springville, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Lone Peak will face off against Mountain View at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.56 runs per game on average), something Lone Peak will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Springville, they will challenge Timpview at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Springville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.5 runs per game this season.
