Brimfield entered their tilt with Princeville on Wednesday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Princes 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted against the Princes since May 7, 2018.

Brady Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Brimfield saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Crowe, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Crowe has posted since back in April.

Brimfield pushed their record up to 24-4-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Princeville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-19-1.

Looking ahead, Brimfield will head out to face off against Midwest Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Princeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
