Volleyball Recap: International Falls Takes a Loss

International Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the North Woods grizzlies, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

While International Falls was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into North Woods' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-21.

International Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Woods, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, International Falls will take on Hibbing at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Woods, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Bigfork on the 2nd.
