Baseball Recap: East Duplin Panthers vs. North Lenoir Hawks
East Duplin let North Lenoir stack four runs on them in the third inning on Thursday but luckily East Duplin prevailed anyway. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hawks, sneaking past 5-4. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.
East Duplin let Austin Rouse and Sawyer Marshburn run wild. Rouse went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Marshburn went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That home run marked the first that Rouse has launched this season.
