Excel posted their closest win since October 3, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the W.S. Neal Eagles 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Madelyn Flummer paced Excel's offense, picking up eight kills. Flummer got some help from Gracee Kelly and her 13 assists. Finally, Ava McPhaul kept Excel's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Excel's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for W.S. Neal, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
