Basketball Game Preview: South Elgin Storm vs. Streamwood Sabres

South Elgin is on a three-game streak of home losses, Streamwood a seven-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The South Elgin Storm will host the Streamwood Sabres at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, South Elgin ended up a good deal behind Larkin and lost 59-41.

Meanwhile, Streamwood lost 76-55 to Bartlett on Friday.

South Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Streamwood, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.

South Elgin didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Streamwood when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 61-57 win. Will South Elgin repeat their success, or does Streamwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
