Baseball Recap: Forsan Gets the Win

After only two runs in their last contest, Forsan made sure to put some runs up on the board against Clarendon on Friday. The Forsan Buffaloes walked away with a 12-7 win over the Clarendon Broncos. While the Buffaloes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Forsan's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Clarendon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Forsan will take on Lamesa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forsan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Lamesa's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Clarendon, they have already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Junction on the 1st.
