Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Northeast Dubois

Northeast Dubois extended their postseason success on Saturday against Tecumseh. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Braves. The victory was familiar territory for the Jeeps, who have now won four matches in a row.

Carter Fuhs made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned runs off nine hits. Fuhs was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Eli Schroering, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. Aidan Sheetz was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Northeast Dubois' record is now 19-8. As for Tecumseh, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-17-1.

Coming up, Northeast Dubois will take on Wood Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Tecumseh does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
