Soccer Recap: King Starts Season with Victory on the Road

King had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Raymondville Bearkats by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Brahmas, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Enson Ventura and Christian Gonzalez scored all three of King's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

This is the second loss in a row for Raymondville and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will be taking part in a tournament against IDEA Weslaco Pike at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Raymondville, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will challenge Vanguard Academy Beethoven at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
