Soccer Recap: Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

If Sacred Heart was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Hattiesburg HomeSchool last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crusaders took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Jones Braves on Tuesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Sacred Heart couldn't quite close it out.

Sacred Heart has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for South Jones, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Coming up, Sacred Heart will challenge Our Lady Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Sacred Heart their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for South Jones, they will face off against Northeast Jones at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
