Football Game Preview: Plain Dealing Lions vs. Arcadia Hornets

Plain Dealing is 0-10 against Arcadia since November of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Lions will look to defend their home field against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Plain Dealing has given up an average of 51.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Plain Dealing challenged Cedar Creek on Friday. The Lions were dealt a 60-6 defeat at the hands of the Cougars.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Arcadia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to Glenbrook for the full four quarters, racking up a 35-8 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Plain Dealing's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Arcadia, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Plain Dealing took a serious blow against Arcadia in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 54-0. Thankfully for the Lions, Bratreviauntae Ferrell (who rushed for 103 yards and one score on only five carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
