Oxbridge Academy's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Calvary Christian Academy Eagles a 15-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the ThunderWolves in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Riley Lyons was a standout: she scored two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Isabella LaForte, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Oxbridge Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calvary Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .077.

The win got Oxbridge Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.
