Recap: South Fork Cubs vs. Willits Wolverines
The South Fork Cubs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 63-25 win over Willits. That result was just more of the same for these two, as South Fork also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
South Fork's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor Hunt, who scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tommy Rotbergs, who scored 15 points.
South Fork's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Willits, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
South Fork is on the road again on Friday and play against Cloverdale at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st. As for Willits, they will face off against St. Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
