Soccer Recap: Lafayette Continues Home Dominance on Friday

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lafayette had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Grafton Clippers. Lafayette haven't had any issues with Grafton recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Lafayette's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six matches. As for Grafton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Lafayette will square off against Tabb on Tuesday. Grafton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
