Football Preview: Layton Lancers vs. Fremont Silverwolves        
        
		
             Layton hasn't had much luck against Fremont recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The Layton Lancers will welcome the Fremont Silverwolves  at 7:00  p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
 Last Friday, Layton earned  a  24-17 victory over West Jordan.
 Layton wouldn't let West Jordan keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as  Jefferson Hunt,  Michael Marriott, and  Harrison Swain picked up one apiece. Hunt also set a new season high mark in  total tackles with nine.
 Meanwhile,  everything came up roses for Fremont on the road  against Cyprus on Friday as the  team secured  a  48-13 win. The Silverwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 34  points or more this season.
  Manase Tuatagaloa was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 293 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 38 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  a  sack and making two total tackles (2.0 for loss).  Cade Hadley was another key player, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
 Layton's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Fremont, their win  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 3-2.
