Basketball Recap: Bristow Find Success

Bristow won the last time they faced Cleveland and things went their way on Friday too. The Bristow Pirates snuck past the Cleveland Tigers with a 49-43 victory.

Bristow found their leader in freshman Josie Morgan, who posted nine points and six rebounds. Audra Dunbar was another key player, putting up four points.

Bristow has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Cleveland, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Bristow will square off against Cushing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bristow is facing Cushing at the right time seeing as Cushing is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Cleveland, they will take on Perkins-Tryon at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Perkins-Tryon will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cleveland surely won't give up without a fight.
