Volleyball Recap: Front Range Baptist Falcons vs. Denver Waldorf Spartans

After flying high against Campion Academy on Thursday, Front Range Baptist came back down to earth. The Front Range Baptist Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Denver Waldorf Spartans on Friday. The Falcons have struggled against the Spartans recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Front Range Baptist ultimately came up short, they really made Denver Waldorf work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-25, 20-25, 25-21.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emma Gerrard, who had ten kills and two aces. Gerrard is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had ten or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
