Softball Recap: Princeton Sets Scoring Season-High Against Quincy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Princeton). They came out on top against the Quincy Trojans by a score of 9-4 on Thursday. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 9-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Reyna Sullivan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Wills, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Princeton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matches.

Princeton now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Quincy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Princeton has already played their next contest, a 9-5 victory against Weed on the 20th. As for Quincy, they will take on Trinity at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
