Basketball Recap: Puxico Comes Up Short

Puxico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Neelyville Tigers 76-12. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Puxico's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Neelyville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Puxico will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on February 20th. As for Neelyville, they will take on Clearwater at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
