Softball Recap: Burlington Triumphs

While Burlington put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Waukesha North. The Demons narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Northstars 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Demons.

Burlington's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Waukesha North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Burlington will challenge Waterford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waukesha North, they will square off against Waukesha West at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Northstars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
