Softball Recap: WF West Comes Up Short

After flying high against Shelton last Monday, WF West came back down to earth. The Bearcats fell just short of the Centralia Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

WF West's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Centralia, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2-2.

WF West and Centralia will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bearcats see the field they'll take on Aberdeen at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Centralia, their break will end when they face Black Hills at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th.
