Football Recap: Erath Beats Berwick for Their Seventh Straight Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Erath). Their defense stepped up to hand the Berwick Panthers a 49-0 shutout on Friday. The Bobcats' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

The victory keeps Erath at an undefeated 7-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.3 points on average this season. As for Berwick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
