Basketball Game Preview: Gadsden City Titans vs. Pell City Panthers

The Gadsden City Titans will take on the Pell City Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Gadsden City has six straight victories, Pell City has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Saturday, Gadsden City strolled past Whitesburg Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 51-32. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Warriors are ranked 183rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pell City ended up a good deal behind Shades Valley on Friday and lost 59-45.

Pell City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Gadsden City, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10.

Gadsden City strolled past Pell City when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 74-56. Will Gadsden City repeat their success, or does Pell City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
