Olympia won against Bonney Lake last Wednesday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Olympia Bears took their contest with ease, bagging a 56-26 victory over the Graham-Kapowsin Eagles. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 24 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Graham-Kapowsin saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emma Gatoloai posted nine points.

Olympia's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Graham-Kapowsin, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympia will welcome Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Olympia knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Bethel likes a good challenge. As for Graham-Kapowsin, they will host Yelm at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Graham-Kapowsin is facing Yelm at the right time seeing as Yelm is stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
