Softball Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Abilene Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Abilene, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Legacy will take on rival Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Abilene is set to square off against their familiar foe Wylie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
