After a string of eight wins, Siegel's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Eagleville Eagles, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Stars have suffered since August 19th.

Siegel was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Eagleville work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 29-27, 25-16.

Loss or not, Siegel got some senior leadership from Camryn Faulk and Baylor Burnett. Faulk had 19 digs and one assist, while Burnett had 14 digs. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Burnett.

Siegel's defeat dropped their record down to 20-15. As for Eagleville, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 35-5.

Siegel has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Riverdale on the 3rd. Eagleville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
