Salpointe Catholic entered their tilt with Deer Valley on Tuesday with 13 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 14. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Skyhawks.

Salpointe Catholic was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 20-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Dawson Leber paced Salpointe Catholic's offense, picking up 15 kills. Leber got some help from Antony Owens and his 39 assists. Finally, Lehi Rocha kept Salpointe Catholic's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Salpointe Catholic's victory was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-8. As for Deer Valley, they moved to 26-9 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Coming up, Salpointe Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Prescott at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Badgers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight. Deer Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
