After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sedro-Woolley, Cascade was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Lynnwood Royals 17-4. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bruins considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

The team relied heavily on Dean Davis, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Marcell Alexander, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Cascade always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The last time their OBP was this high was since the start of last season.

The win got Cascade back to even at 1-1.
