Basketball Recap: Epping Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sunapee on Friday, Epping came back down to earth. The Blue Devils lost 54-29 to the Newmarket Mules on Tuesday. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Epping has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Newmarket, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Epping will take on rival Holy Family Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Newmarket is set to square off against their familiar foe Hinsdale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
