Football Recap: Haynes Academy Falls to Metairie Park Country Day in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Haynes Academy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 28-21 to the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns. Haynes Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Metairie Park Country Day apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Haynes Academy will challenge Riverdale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Metairie Park Country Day, they will square off against Willow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
