Volleyball Recap: Maple Grove Comes Up Short

Maple Grove had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Chanhassen Storm by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Crimson were not able to make up for their loss to the Storm from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Kacie Schulte paced Maple Grove's offense, picking up 15 kills. Schulte got some help from Addison Chung and her 20 assists. Chung also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Tess Schuler, racking up three apiece.

The victory got Chanhassen back to even at 1-1.

Maple Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against St. Michael-Albertville on the 26th. Chanhassen has also already played their next contest (against Southwest Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
