Softball Preview: Lake-Lehman Knights vs. Mid Valley Spartans
The Lake-Lehman Knights will challenge the Mid Valley Spartans at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lake-Lehman took a loss when they played away from home on May 12th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over Western Wayne. The high-scoring effort was just what the Knights needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Meanwhile, Mid Valley got themselves on the board against Riverside on Thursday, but Riverside never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 15-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won seven in a row.
