Dighton had won six straight games and Daniel Cramer did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Dighton Hornets narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Quinter Bulldogs 37-35 thanks in part to Cramer, who went 6 for 12 en route to 14 points and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played.

Boston Shimer was another key player, putting up eight points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Havlas, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Hans Deaton also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Dighton's record now sits at 9-3. As for Quinter, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Dighton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-48 win against Wallace County on the 25th. As for Quinter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-45 loss against Greeley County on the 25th.
