Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Walker

Central will head out on the road to face off against Walker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Walker took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Central, who comes in off a win.

Walker better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Central's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Central really gets things going. The Wildcats never let Liberty Magnet get on the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Walker was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against East Ascension, falling 5-0.

The victory got Central back to even at 9-9-2. As for Walker, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Central suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Walker in their previous meeting back in January of 2025. Can Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
