Lake Fenton had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Brandon on Tuesday. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Blackhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Lake Fenton relied on the efforts of Abbigayl Sells, who had 14 digs and four assists, and Madelyn Teffner, who had 18 assists and five digs. Sells is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Corunna, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Owosso on Monday. The Cavaliers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17th (when they won 3-0).
While Corunna won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 27-25.
Lake Fenton better keep an eye on Emily Reichert. She was instrumental in Corunna's win, getting six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Reichert has posted since back in October of 2024.
Corunna was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive contests.
Lake Fenton's record now sits at 15-9. As for Corunna, their record is now 12-15-4.

However, it's not like Corunna struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Lake Fenton took their win against Corunna in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
