After soaring to 35 points the game before, McNairy Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by the Obion County Rebels 50-7. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Stone Ladden went supernova For Obion County., rushing for 97 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 147 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Those 97 rushing yards gave Ladden a new career-high. Obion County also got a significant boost from Tucker Moore, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 118 yards.

McNairy Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Obion County, they moved to 4-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
