Legacy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. Everything went their way against the Skyline Falcons as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lightning also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
Legacy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-17.
Reagan Bayley paced Legacy's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bayley got some help from Emma Gray and her 32 assists. Aubrey D'Onofrio controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
When it comes to explaining why Skyline lost, don't look at Marisol Sanchez. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and two assists. Sanchez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.
Legacy's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Skyline, they dropped their record down to 5-17 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.
